Worldwide Knit In Day-June 9, 2012

On June 9th, 2012 was Worldwide Knit In Day. So people all over the world were suppose to knit in public. I just learned to knit and crochet, but didn't get the opportunity because we had to work. Usually the weekends are a time the hubbie and I relax or clean the house. This weekend we cleaned because it desperately needed it and maintance is coming to fix some things in the apartment.

I decided to celebrate the Knit In with taking pictures of all the knitting things around the house. 

Knitting Book: My mom got for me when I first learned to knit

Below are some types of yarn. I never thought when I learned to knit there would be so much types of yarn. I'm still learning what the difference between yarn and why you the different types. 

Gray mixed yarn. I'm hoping to make a scarf out of this.

Bright pink: My favorite color.

Blue multi color. I have a hat out of this and going to make a scarf.

White fuzzy yarn. I love this yarn so much!

Now are some scarfs that I have finished knitting. I am extremely proud of these because I didn't think I would get or even like it. 

Below are needles you need for knitting. I have needles for everything you can possibly imagine.

Also included is all my yarn. I have a lot of projects ahead of me.
