To those who don't know yet, my husband and I are moving to Arizona next week. He recently accepted a job with Arizona State Athletics. He will be selling tickets for Sun Devil Football, Men and Women's basketball and other sports too. This opportunity is great experience for him, and hopefully he'll be able to lead his own team soon.
Gary is excited to go back because he use to leave in Phoenix. He worked for the Coyotes (NHL team) before we met. So he is excited to show me everything around the town. I'm excited to meet some of his friend who live in the area.
We have been extremely well with everything in Phoenix. We got our apartment is less than 5 hours. We will be living in Tempe near the ASU campus. I have been able to transfer all my membership to the Phoenix/Tempe area. I transferred my Junior League membership, so I still get to be a provisional this year. That was a big relief for me.
Oklahoma City has a lot of great memories for both of us. I'm sad to leave but excited for the new opportunities ahead. OKC is personally bittersweet for me because I just started working with the OKC Barons. (AHL Hockey team in town.) On a positive note about this experience though is that I learned the proper way to sell. And I'm actually good at it. I have been on the phone for 6 days and I have sold everyday. I have also sold more than they are paying me, so that's always a good thing.

DeleteCongratulations to you and your husband. You should make a point of contacting Steve Webb, ASU Exec. Dir. for Athletics Compliance. He's a good friend and former colleague of mine, big baseball fan, ultra-runner, dedicated father and all-around good guy.
