This week I am talking eating healthy while working out. If your job is like mine, I sit at my desk for up to 10 hours a day, crazy hours, and don't eat the greatness. I work in Westgate too so that really don't help me eat healthy at all. I have to make a conscience decision on what I want to eat.
On Sunday, Gary and I plan our meals for the week. We usually plan lunch and dinner. First big mistake we never plan breakfast. I usually wake up long enough to get dress, grab lunch, and straighten my hair. (Expect a whole another post on why this is bad for a working and professional women. But that's a whole different topic.)
Usually for breakfast I have cereal or something I can eat for multiple days. Lately I've been eating granola bars.
I'm usually not too hungry until lunch but I still try to grab something light. My favorite lunch item is a the all in one salads from Wal-Mart. It has everything right in the bag so I can enjoy my salad. These are the easiest things for me during the week.
Dinners have been a tough one lately with my schedule of games. I need to be more proactive on Sundays and make pasta or something easy for gamedays.
Some easy snacks that I love are boiled eggs and cottage cheese, granola bars, almonds, peanuts, and crackers. All super easy to premeasure on Sunday.

Healthy eating is SUCH a challenge, but I've learned that *planning* is the secret, so you've got a good start there. Have you ever checked out the site skinnytaste.com? She has so many ideas for meals, snacks, and everything in between =) She focuses on WW, but the ideas are good for us all.
