2013 New Years Resolutions

A New Year means a new change. I never really understood why we should try to change just because it's a new year. Yet I still make resolutions for the upcoming year.

I have also decided to have ONE word to guide my year. If you haven't seen that post, click here.

I have broken up my Resolutions into 2 separate posts: one about my personal life and the other about my blog.

These are in no particular order:

1. Lose weight. My goal is about 30 pounds. The number isn't that important but I have a BUNCH of pants that I can fit into. So my goal is that they all fit me again!

2. Get out of debt. My hubs and I have a great plan for the new year. As depressing as it was we listed out all the debt and made a plan for the upcoming year. Our goal is to be completely debt free is 8 years.

3. Read 18 books! Last year I read 30 books. It was a mixture between personal and professional. This year I plan on reading all the Professional Development Book Club books and participate in the twitter chat.

4. Prayer Life. I need to be SO SO SO much better about that. I need to wake up early and spend time in the Bible and with Him. I want to be a better wife and have a better marriage. We both want God to be the center of our marriage.

I'm sure there will be more throughout the year.
