I can't believe we almost done with the blogit week with Young Female Entrepreneurs. Today is all about my city. I could go in so many directions with this post. At first I was thinking about writing about the Phoenix metro. This is where I techinically live.
Then I was thinking it could be about your hometown. I claim 2 hometowns. I was born and grew up in Des Moines, Iowa. Then in the 4th grade we moved to Conway, Arkansas. I lived in Conway up to the end of my freshman year in college. Then I moved back to Iowa to go to Iowa State.
I decided to stick with Phoenix because that is where I am at now. This is where I would like to stay for a long time. Gary and I both have jobs in sports. Which is huge because this is something we have struggled with for a while. We met when we were both working in sports, and that has been the goal. Get to major market.
We have only lived here 3 months. We really haven't "explored" the city to much. We have mostly been to sporting events. Shocking, right. I can say though that I absolutely love it. There is so much to do, and the scenery is great. Plus, not to rub it in it's November and I'm still rocking the shorts and t-shirts.
