I LOVE Thanksgiving! I LOVE fall!! I can't believe that Thanksgiving is ONLY 2 day away. Where did November go? Two things for me that complete Thanksgiving is the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade and Detroit Lions Half-time Show. After those 2 things happen it can be Christmas.
I love joking with my husband about putting the tree and start decorating for Christmas after Halloween. He is a big advocate of Christmas is only allowed in December. Last year, we took the Christmas tree down after we opened presents.
This year I am super excited about the half time show because it is Kid Rock. He will be performing his newest single called "Detroit, Michigan." It will pay tribute to Aretha Franklin, Marvin Gaye, and Eminem. (All musicians from the city.) Kid Rock headlined the show before back in 2010. I remember that show and how crazy it was.
This is the 73rd annual Thanksgiving Day Game between the Lions and the Texans. I will be watching this game has it kicks off at 12:30pm.
