For the longest time I was dreaded this day. What word would I use that describes me that starts with an x? Today before I wrote this blog I decided to google words to describe someone one more time. I am so glad that I did because I wouldn't have found this word......xenodocheionology!
What does this word mean, you ask? I will tell you. It means lover of hotels and inns. I LOVE hotels. I love staying at them and old bed and breakfasts. Even though I have never stayed at a B&B before, I still love them. No two B&B's are the same or have the same history.
Gary and I were talking about this the other night about staying at a hotel for a night just to get away. He does NOT share the same love of hotels as I do. He played baseball in high school and college. So, he has stayed in his share of hotels.
Great word!!! I love to stay in hotels too but with all the bedbug issues I'm scared to!! lol

how do you even pronounce that word?? lol. you know, i love b&b's too--and i have yet to stay in one too!!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE B&Bs, too & yet, I have never actually stayed at one. There is such a romantic, peaceful feel to them. And who doesn't like old, vintagey (I know that's not a word!) homes?
