"Where There is no Vision, the People Perish" --Proverbs 29:18

A book that I has taken me forever to finish is Chazown by Craig Groeschel. I got this book probably about a year ago for a bible study through LifeChurch.tv. I never completed this bible study, but Gary and I have been going to a couples bible study. This book is a really easy book to read and I have read already one spoke for our couples bible study tonight. (Our bible study is almost finished with the book, but I want to read the whole book.)

As I was reading the Fitness Spoke for LifeGroup, I was wondering why haven't I read this book? Why am I not living God's Vision for me? I could sit here all afternoon and ask questions, but the answers will always be the same. I haven't put in up in prayer. I have good intentions on finishing but haven't put into action. No excuses, straight honesty it hasn't been a priority in my life until NOW.

I AM MAKING IT A PRIORITY! I want everyone in the blog world to help keep me accountable. I want to blog my way through this book. I want to know God's vision for me and live it in my everyday life.

The first chapter is about wanting a vision. For those of who don't know what a  Chazown is or means. Chazown is a dream, vision, or revelation.  In the bible (proverbs 29:18) it stats without a vision people perish. We were all created for a vision whether we want to admit or not.

After finding my Chazown, I need to eliminate some good things to make room for God's GREAT things. God has a plan if we just let him have control of our life. Give everything we have to Him.

With Chazown comes endurance that God's plan with get me through the tough times.

Chazown comes with peace that I know who I am and why I am here. This is something that I have been struggling with lately. I think spending more time in the Lord and really listening to him. I will be more at peace with myself.

Chazown comes with Passion.

Father, Your vision for my life is bigger and better than I anything I have ever dreamed of. I trust you completely that you will change my life for the better. You will guide me to given up on the good so I can have the great. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen!
